On the course

Every distance, from where you stand.

nRange uses your phone's GPS to measure from your ball, not the tee box. Walk to your shot and the numbers are already updated.

  1. Front, middle and back

    The green panel shows three numbers to the green from where you stand, and they update as you walk. The middle is the one in green.

  2. Measure any spot

    Drag the target onto a bunker, a creek or your layup. You get the distance to it, and from there to the pin.

  3. Premium

    Distance arcs

    Arcs across the fairway mark the distance to the green, so you can see exactly where your layup number is.

  4. Premium

    3D or top-down

    Tilt the satellite map into 3D to read the elevation, or flatten it to see the whole hole from above.

  5. GPS you can check

    The badge in the corner shows your signal and how accurate it is, like Excellent ±5 m, so you know when to trust the number.

  6. Score from the map

    Tap Score to enter strokes and use the arrows to move between holes. The round saves as you go.

  • Shot tracking

    Tap Start after you hit and Stop when you reach your ball to see how far it went.

  • Full-hole view

    Turn your phone sideways to see the whole hole, tee to green.

  • Yards or meters

    Switch any time in Settings › Distance Unit.

  • Courses near you

    Open the app and the courses closest to you are listed first.

Every rated round you finish goes into your stats. nRange works out your handicap index from your best 10 of the last 20 differentials, and shows exactly which rounds counted.

The nRange Watch app puts the yardages and your scorecard on your wrist.

  1. Front, middle and back Yardages to the green, with the middle in the biggest type.
  2. Score with + and − Count strokes as you play. Scores sync to the round on your iPhone, even if the phone app was closed.
  3. Change holes Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen.
