This executive course was built on flat terrain but located in the hills The course is wide open at times and at other times seems like a forest The course features a few small greens with a little mounding here and there The Elk River flows alongside the course on the back nine The most difficult hole is 13 a 295 yard par 4 featuring a dogleg left fairway The course is enjoyable to walk This course is one of four Kanawha County courses The scorecard doesn t show handicaps for individual holes
