This club has two eighteen hole regulation courses The Ambassador Course features narrow tree lined fairways and small greens Although this course is not very long you ll need every club in your bag The fairways average twenty five yards wide and the rough can get deep in certain areas Although there is minimal bunkering on this course you ll need to avoid the large hickory trees and a river that meanders through the layout and affects play on nine holes The Presidential Course has a links style front nine with wide fairways heavy mounding and large bunkers Carved from an old nursery trees are not in short supply Two large ponds come into play on holes 5 and 7 The course changes dramatically after hole 11 The greens shrink to half the size and the fairways get tighter and the trees taller A difficult finishing hole is 16 a reachable 480 yard par 5 but your tee shot needs to find the fairway through the forest of hickory trees Carts are mandatory on the Presidential Course during weekends For additional information call the pro shop at 610 754 9862 or visit the club online at www hickoryvalley com
