This is the oldest municipal nine hole course in Illinois The course is extremely well kept and very beautiful It has very wide fairways and virtually no water hazards There are two holes that involve water but you d almost have to try to put the ball in the water for it to be a problem The layout consists of nine holes two par 3 s two par 5 s and the rest of the holes are par 4 s The most difficult hole is hole 6 a 575 yard par 5 featuring a nice sized hill and a dogleg fairway The fairways are wide open and the greens are small and well bunkered
