This mostly flat course requires good shotmaking skills especially off the tee All of the fairways are lined with ten to twenty foot mounds and there are twelve lakes in the layout and a creek that runs through nine holes A few greens are two tiered and many have subtle breaks and slopes A difficult hole is 9 a 518 yard par 5 requiring a tee shot that must carry a creek approximately 220 yards out with water hazards on both sides of the narrow landing area The approach shot is to a green surrounded by water hazards that are not visible from the fairway
