Baltimore Country Club
This club has two outstanding 18 hole courses The East Course is the older of the two and one of A W Tillinghast s finest A parkland design that offers undulating fairways and mature trees the most notable hole is the par 5 6th known as The Barn Hole To reach the green in two golfers must hit a tee shot over a barn which is out of bounds and cut the corner of this dogleg left The greens of the East Course are not as severely sloped as many Tillinghast designs but several of the bunkers that protect them are deep and high lipped Brian Silva lead a team in 1991 that did restoration work on the East Course while the West Course built in 1962 was redesigned by Bob Cupp and Tom Kite in 1990
