This is a fairly tight course The fairways are heavily tree lined and with the exception of two holes play straightaway This course has only a few greenside bunkers The toughest hole is 8 a 547 yard par 5 requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway then an approach shot past a lake on the left side of the green and a large bunker on the right Ben Wihry designed two new holes in 1974 The course is open to the public before noon Wednesday through Friday For additional information call the pro shop at 502 633 0542 or visit the club online at www shelbyvillecc com
