Hershey Country Club
                HERSHEY Country Club has two spectacular and distinctive 18 hole courses and Spring Creek  a 9 hole course for junior players and families  The West Course provides a bird s eye view of the town  including play atop the hill on the front lawn of Milton Hershey s estate   High Point Mansion  This par 73 course has tree lined fairways  lush greens  and challenging hazards  and has hosted several LPGA and PGA tournaments  including the 1940 PGA Championship and the LPGA s Lady Keystone Open for almost 20 years  At 6,860 yards  the West Course has a rating of 72.6 and slope of 130  Maurice McCarthy designed it in 1930  The par 71 East Course is a golf enthusiast s dream featuring raised greens  three man made lakes  and more than 100 bunkers  The East Course has hosted several PGA tournaments  most recently the Nationwide Tour s REESE S Cup Classic  an event on professional golf s development tour  the East Course abounds with natural hazards  daunting greens  and sparkling lakes  The East course stretches 7,061 yards  has a rating of 74.5 and a 136 slope  George Fazio designed this course in 1970 Hershey also features Spring Creek Golf Club  the first 9 hole course in the country built especially for junior players The East and West courses are open to members and resort guests only  while Spring Creek is open to the public
