This course is a typical Jerry Pate design with severely sloping greens square tee boxes and odd shaped bunkers The fairways are rolling and have some elevation change A few of the fairways are tree lined Seven holes play around a big lake The greens are large and undulating There is an abundance of wetlands Overall the course is both challenging and fair The signature hole is 16 a 243 yard par 3 which requires a tee shot over a water hazard Water hazards and sand surround the green Golf Digest selected it 2nd among the Best New Affordable courses for 1999 The club will be semi private until the membership dictates the transition to a completely private facility
