Can a golf course be everything to all golfers? Trappers Turn comes very close. Combining the challenges of a championship design with a playability that golfers of all levels can enjoy, Trappers Turn is gaining a reputation among players as a golf lovers paradise. Comprised of three nines--Lake, Canyon and Arbor--Trappers Turn offers golfers several 18-hole layouts to play. Architects Andy North & Roger Packard masterfully molded a layout to match the differing land features. A canyon was formed when melting glacial waters cut through the native sandstone leaving a natural route that today encompasses some of the most panoramic golf holes at Trappers Turn. Above the canyons, gentle rolling fairways flow into a sea of moguls, giving the course a Scottish flair. Other holes along the ridge have fairways that weave through dense hardwood forests of oak and birch. Beautiful Southern Classic clubhouse facilities can accommodate outings, meetings, and special gatherings.
