This well maintained course features a number of dogleg fairways undulating terrain water hazards coming into play on six holes somewhat sloping greens and two holes requiring shots over a canyon The course was built on what was once the 220 acre summer estate of Howard Hanna a prominent Cleveland industrialist The club hosted the Carlings Open won by Cary Middlecoff in 1954 This former private club is one of six municipal courses operated by the Cleveland Metroparks
