This course originally used a flock of sheep to trim the greens when it was known as Westport Inn Golf Links in the early 20th century The scenic design overlooks Lake Champlain and offers fabulous views of the surrounding mountains The greens are medium sized and fast and the back nine is tighter than the front nine Many trees line the fairways and there is water that comes into play on three holes Walking is permitted after 2 PM
