The Ridgewood Country Club
This club offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations The West East Course is the most challenging combination The West East Course has narrow tree lined fairways bordered by a deep cut of rough The East Center Course is the least difficult because it is shorter and has fewer water hazards The Center West Course can be difficult and its signature hole is 6 on the Center Course a par 4 measuring 289 yards This hole plays to an extremely small green They have named this hole The Five And Dime because you can make a score anywhere between a five and a ten All three courses have undulating greens that are fast and medium sized There are many elevation changes and ponds come into play throughout all three courses This club was originally founded in 1890 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U S These courses were renovated by Rees Jones in 1988 Ridgewood Country Club hosted the Senior PGA Championship in 2001
