This is a beautiful scenic course and one of the most challenging in Central Virginia Several water hazards and numerous sand bunkers come into play and most of the tree lined fairways are rolling and have dogleg configurations The greens are heavily undulated and fast The signature hole is 4 a 165 yard par 3 which has water surrounding more than half of the green Hole 17 a 144 yard par 3 plays uphill and over water to a shallow green Make sure to use enough club to carry the green or you will be left with a blind uphill chip shot
