This course s front and back nines are completely different The front nine features narrow tree lined fairways while the back nine has more open fairways The course is located in a quiet setting and offers many great views of the San Francisco Bay The signature hole is 11 a 135 yard par 3 featuring both an elevated tee and green and requiring a tee shot over a valley to a sloped green There are several lakes in the design Robert Muir Graves redesigned the course in 1973 and Ron Fream added nine new holes and redesigned the others in 1987
