This course used to be a regulation nine hole layout until nine new holes were added in 1997 The old nine features relatively flat fairways which are wide with very few trees lining the sides The greens are large and flat Water hazards come into play on three of the front nine holes The new back nine is more challenging then the old nine holes and was cut out of the surrounding forest Little Wildcat Creek can be found meandering throughout the back nine and coming into play on six holes The course features narrow fairways on rolling terrain Accuracy and precise ball placement is crucial to achieving a good score The signature hole is the 7 a 173 yard par 3 which features an elevated tee as well as elevated green The hole requires a tee shot through a narrow tree lined fairway and over a creek to a medium sized green
