This course was built on hilly terrain and most holes are surrounded by water or trees The greens are fast and undulating and the fairways are wide The signature hole is 15 a 425 yard par 4 requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway that has a creek flowing through it 200 yards in front of the green then an approach shot with a hazard protecting the left and rear of the largest green on the course Don Herfort did the redesign in 1972
