This club has four well maintained eighteen hole courses The Wood Stork Course is located in a parkland setting The terrain is basically untouched by man and home to plenty of native wildlife including wood storks The initial eight holes play through wetlands and the remaining ten holes play through a majestic pine forest The Hummingbird Course is a links style course There are strategically placed lakes and an array of pot and waste bunkers spread throughout its entire design The Avocet Course has elevated tee boxes and greens double fairways grass bunkers and even a double tiered green Hole 14 a 308 yard par 4 was voted one of The Best 18 Holes You Can Play by Golf Digest in 1997 On this hole the green can be reached from the tee for most players but mounds and bunkers have been thrown in to snare any errant drives Water hazards come into play on several holes on this course Golf Digest rated Avocet as the 17th Best in State course for 1995 96 The Falcon Course is the newest of the four and features large mounds along the sides of the fairways and around the greens There are several sand bunkers on this course including pot bunkers as well as large bunkers with fingers spearing out in many different directions Each of the holes are named such as hole 12 Sahara a 521 yard par 5 with sand down the entire left side of the fairway The fairways are wide open because there are no trees in play and the greens are undulating and fairly large A large beautiful lake comes into play on nine holes Golf Digest rated the Falcon as the 18th Best in State course for 1997 98 All four courses have sculptured fairways that gently blend in with the trees waterways and wildlife All of the courses feature the Proshot GPS yardage devices in their golf carts
