The club personnel said this is the third oldest course in the U S The course is located across from Lake Michigan and provides outstanding scenery for the golfers The fairways are lined by trees and bordered by a standard cut of rough There aren t any water hazards on the course but there are plenty of sand bunkers This course s most difficult hole is 5 a 355 yard par 4 requiring a tee shot up a fairly narrow fairway then an approach shot to a well bunkered green guarded by a tree situated in the center of the fairway approximately fifty yards in front of the green
