Constructed along the western shore of Lake Templene Michigan by Raymod Hearn Golf Designs this course has long tree lined fairways that wind through wetland areas to large well defended greens Six tee boxes offer a challenge to the experienced golfer and variety to the novice Holes 14 through 18 are considered to be the course signature holes as golfers must shoot onto a 40 acre island in order to reach them Once there the golfer is greeted by elevated tees and large sloping greens Care must be taken to avoid the water that borders a good portion of each of the last five holes The club has installed the Pro Shot Golf GPS system in all carts and will be accepting tee times via their web site in mid 2001
