This links style course is a replica of a course back in Scotland The design is unique in its strategy and playability All holes incorporate bail out areas with many including close cut chipping areas around the greens These allow recovery shots in the form of putting or chipping The higher percentage shot is the one that is kept low and run onto the green The course was built on rolling terrain with fairways that are narrow and open Water hazards come into play on six holes and sand bunkers are placed throughout the design The greens are fairly large flat and generally fast The final hole a 523 yard par 5 plays into the wind and features a wetland crossing 150 yards short of the green Study the green before you hit your approach shot It appears easy due to no bunkers but is actually the most difficult green to hit in regulation The green is completely surrounded by a chipping area a proper send off to your links style round The other tee shown is an additional men s tee There are discounted green fees for city residents A driving range opened in 1998
