This course built on rolling terrain has small greens and tight fairways Water hazards come into play on six holes and a few sand bunkers protect the greens and fairways The greens are undulating and the fairways are tree lined The signature hole is 6 a 167 yard par 3 requiring a tee shot over water to a small green The most difficult hole is 4 a 422 yard par 4 which requires a straightaway tee shot up a very narrow fairway with out of bounds markers guarding the entire left side of the fairway from tee to green Bill Teufel redesigned the original holes in 1981
