Although some of this course plays through tall pines much of the course is very open There are small sloping greens that are generally open in front allowing run up shots that in fact become necessary as the fairways firm up in the summer Although there are flat lies on every hole only a well planned and executed shot can avoid the downhill uphill or sidehill lies that influence the play on every hole There are water hazards coming into play on three holes
