Associated with the Pearl River Resort there are two 18 hole Tom Fazio and Jerry Pate designed courses at this facility The original Azaleas course has several water hazards and strategically placed bunkers that force players to think their way around the course in order to avoid big numbers Only members guests of members or overnight guests at the nearby resort are able to play this course The newer Oaks course features many elevation changes with greens that are large undulating and fast The fairways cut through a pine forest and several of the holes require players to carry water A prime example is the second hole a 466 yard par 4 that forces players to content with a lake on the left side of the fairway and a large fairway bunker on the right
