This course s back nine was built in 1937 and its front nine was built in 1985 The back nine features mature oak trees forming thick tree lined fairways The greens are very small and undulating This course has a lot of character Even though the front nine has more sand bunkers and narrower fairways it is a little bit easier The greens are almost twice the size of the greens on the back nine Water hazards ponds and a creek come into play on eight holes About half the greens and tee boxes are elevated The signature hole is 9 a 330 yard par 4 because it requires a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway
